just to keep the posts flowing...

Alright, seems like the blog is slowly chugging back to life again.

To keep the momentum going and the words coming, let's post more and that INCLUDES you ah chek. For the uninitiated, ah chek refers to our dear old (in the literal sense) for how he's aged since enlistment. Hahaha...

To start off from where Ron left off, have you ever really thought of how much u've acty gained from army, or air force for a handful of you. 'cos sometimes it bewilders people why one year plus into it, some are still damn tulan and disgruntled abt it. They lament abt it being waste of time and the works. After ord, there'll be ICTs, IPPTs and all the shit. ROD seems almost too far away to grasp. Will the kpkb-ing ever end? Why so pessimistic and frustrated, boy?

and that also means JH u this jihong (note the similar initials?) kia u stop fretting over stupid stuff. just take this as a learning episode. a 2-year dream, where u just open ur eyes and learn as much as u can. Pick up positives, stay away from the vices. all the tuang habits, flowery language remains in camp. So cheer up, eh?

Meanwhile.... This blog needs more pics to spruce things up. It's getting stale with all text and no colourful pics. Here it goes.

Cristiano Ronaldo bagging both accolades - Player & Young Player of the Season

Okay.. i think indeed.. this is quite justified.. but if you think about it, is it ever good? to be so reliant on a single player? It's no wonder everytime he has an off-day almost certainly means Man U are relatively toothless in attack. Rooney hasn't really improved much if u think about it.

Ronaldo's good. but not great. he'll never rank among the pantheon of greats like Pele, Maradona etc. For his game is all abt pace, dribbling, trickery. All these attributes dun improve with age, they just degenerate with time. he may be 22... but how many more years he can be at his phenomenal best, u ask? just look at Michael Owen.

Liverpool vs. Chelsea (Stevie G vs John Terry)

This has to be one of the most exciting match-ups. Liverpool, after all, is Chelsea's bogey team. I'm not going to going into another long tirade abt how we are the best blahblah.. but it's the truth that Mourinho dreads facing Benitez on the sidelines. 2005 CL, 2006 FA Cup, and this year, a 2-0 win at Anfield.

No doubt, Chelsea have had their fair share of victories. But sometimes, only the few do truly matter. And this has to be it. I kinda haf a ominous feeling about this.. Chelsea have been lucky to pursue all this Quadruple bullshit.. but still.. u can't help having a soft spot for an outgoing Mourinho.

NBA Playoffs

Why, you ask? How a team as imperious as Dallas Mavericks continually fails to secure the coveted championship ring it so very craves? San Antonio Spurs, Miami Heat...all of them defeated Big Dirk and Co. on route to their respective triumphs..

After a 67-15 regular season, seems like they've truly met their match in the Golden State Warriors. Winless against them in three previous regular meetings..and to lose at home in the first match.. Seems like Dallas is gonna really toil hard to win this.

With the exception of the Phoenix Sun (Nash, Stoudamire, Marion Jones), Dallas undoubtedly boast the strongest lineup with Jason Terry, Josh Howard amongst them.

Perhaps a victory is long overdue.

And finally, a light-hearted video to round things up:
